League Play Hiatus Begins

The 2009-2010 season will be a little different than normal due to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games that will unfold in our backyard… in the Vancouver Olympic / Paralympic Centre.
The reason for the league play hiatus is to due to the logistical impact on the neighbourhood surrounding the club.
From February 8th to March 2nd, there will be road closures, traffic flow changes, reduced access to our club plus many of our club members are volunteering with the Games. The club's Board of Directors have confirmed with VANOC staff that the impact of the Paralympic Games will less than during the Olympic event.
Overall, members can be assured that every league will still have the opportunity to have the same number of weeks of curling.
