2013 AGM Wrap-up

Thank you to all Club members who attended the 2013 Annual General Meeting on June 5. Everyone's comments and feedback during the meeting were appreciated as members' opinions and participation are vital for a membership-driven organization like ours to thrive and succeed.

Congratulations to the new board members who were elected during the AGM. Please click here to view the Club's Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 season.

A very special thank you to our outgoing Board members for their dedication over the past few years. The following members gave very generously of their time and professional skill sets to help the VCC transition from our old facility to Hillcrest Centre and ensure the Club is in the strong position we are today:
Jen Lucas             George Opacic             Jerry McKenzie             Keltie Worrall

Additional kudos are also extended to the Club's staff and all members who volunteered their time for the positive contributions made during our recently-completed 100th anniversary season.

Now that the summer is upon us, be sure to check back online regularly as more details about next season will be added over the coming weeks. And, if you haven't already, be sure to follow us on Facebook - facebook.com/vancurl - and on Twitter - @vancurling.

Lastly, any members who have suggestions and/or are interested in helping out next year as a coach, committee volunteer or supporting one of our events, please do not hesitate to contact Willa or Brad for more details or to provide your name.
