New League at the VCC

The VCC is pleased to offer a new half-season league that will focus on teaching the game and provide some unique experience both on and off the ice.

The School of Rock will begin play on January 11 and run for 15 weeks until April 18. Playing each Wednesday and alternating between 6:45pm and 9:05pm, this small league will allow players to receive instruction, try all positions on the ice, experience different game formats and enjoy some fun off-ice activities.

What Does the VCC Mean to You?

As we enter the holiday season, we know that people are inundated every year with requests for donations for many causes. Donations to any cause are a personal and private choice. Some choose to donate because a disease or issue has impacted their life in a meaningful way, some choose because the fundraising request letter, event or story touched them, some choose because it seems like a good idea and the tax break is beneficial. There are many choices and many reasons so why do we ask you to think about the VCC?

VCC Men at Provincial Playdowns

The VCC was well represented at this past weekend's Men's Provincial Playdowns. Team Schneider (Steve Schneider, Rick Feeney, Shawn Ecklund and Glenn Smith) and Team Marchant (David Marchant, Andrew Gray, Noah Grant and Kris Davies) represented the club as VCC teams. Unfortunately, they did not qualify but, between them, had a number of very close games throughout the weekend.
