A message from the Club's outgoing president...
I would like to thank all our members and volunteers for a great season in 2010-2011.
The VCC is, at its core, a club – and a club is defined by the actions of its members. For my time on the board, on the whole, the actions of people I have been involved with have made me proud to be a member of the VCC.

2011 Annual General Meeting
June 1, 2010 at 7:15pm
Location: The Last Draw Lounge at the VCC (4460 Dinmont Ave)
On Saturday, April 30th, the Vancouver Curling Club hosted a fond farewell and tribute to our old building and 62 years of league play, bonspiels, clinics and good times at the Vancouver Curling Club on Dinmont Avenue with the Last Rock Ceremony.
More than 100 people were in attendance - including honorary life members, past presidents, provincial champions, world champions, and current club members from many of the VCC's leagues - as everyone had a chance to revisit the Club's history through the memorabilia on display, celebrate the throwing of the last rock (ever) in the ice shed, toast the grand, old building and then watch the lights go off in the ice shed for the final time.
After winning the Lower Mainland division of the Dominion BC Club Challenge, Team Faa spent their Easter weekend challenging teams from across the province and the western United States.
Competing at the Pacific International Cup / BC Dominion Club Challenge Provincial Finals, Team Faa finished in a four-way tie for second following round-robin play. After winning their two tie-breaker games in convincing fashion, Team Faa moved onto the medal round. Unfortunately, it was there that the team's spectacular run came to a grinding halt on the Sunday morning.
