Welcome to the home page for the Junior Development Program!

Our Junior Program has two parts - Clinic and Competition.

In the Clinic we get our athletes involved in the game immediately and develope their basic skills while playing games that will challenge their skill level. We hope to end our year with a Curling Jamboree for athletes aged 11 and under.

In our Competitive Program, athletes are placed on teams and begin to play against teams from other Curling Clubs with an eye to going to the BC Provincial Championships. Teams from the VCC have won several Bonspiels and qualified for Juvenile Provincials 5 out of the last 6 years and High School Provincials 3 out of the last 3 years. Teams in the Competitive Program tend to practice outside of Clinic times and play on weekends.
