Following month-long internal playdowns, the Vancouver Curling Club had two teams recently represent the club at the BC Club Challenge.

In its 10th year, the BC Club Challenge is a championship event that is organized with a focus on the grass roots of curling – club curlers. And this year’s event took place at the Richmond Curling Club from April 11-13.

In the women’s division, Team Bourque won the right to represent the VCC and placed 4th in their pool. Team Bourque includes: Danielle Bourque, Dianne Petrant, Rachel Gould, Yolanda Bouwman, and Pat McSherry.

In the men’s division, Team Tully won the VCC’s hard-fought internal playdowns and went on to finish in a 3-way tie for 3rd in their pool at the Club Challenge. Team Tully includes: Brock Tully, Andrew Gray, Sean Ramsay and Ron McKay.
