With representatives from almost all of our club’s leagues taking part in the 24-team draw, this year’s exciting edition of the VCC Club Championships took place from March 31 to April 3.

And the winning team came from the Sunday Open League.

Congratulations go out to our 2008 Club Champions: Team Macdonald. The team features the father & son combination of Doug & Hamish Macdonald, Victoria Grey and Jan Bos (who threw last stones with a stick after his recent knee surgery).

Team Macdonald defeated Team Rowland (from Thursday Open) in a great final game.

And the event’s spirited competition also saw Team Kipp (of the PRCL) capture the B event. Team Kipp includes: Micheal Work, Kelly Kipp, Jack Holmes and Eric Bond.
