Once again, the Vancouver Curling Club is hosting the Barry Naimark Charity Skins on March 6-9, 2008. Barry was a member of our club who became a world curling champion in 1964. All monies raised by the event are donated to a charity pre-approved by our Board of Directors.

This will be our 12th annual bonspiel. Our charity this year will again be the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre, which provides for basic needs of and works toward positive change for women and children in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.

Last year we were able to donate over $4000 to the charity due to the wonderful turnout and support we had from curlers like yourselves.

The cost for the 2008 Charity Skins will be $260 per team - with an $80 deposit (cash or cheques only please).

Your entry fee covers the cash prizes available for each end of curling, a banquet on Saturday night and much more. Once again, we will be having Emelle's cater the event - the food was great last year.
